past that we treasure. Elena Chissotti Maggiora is the matriarch of the cooking school, the one who in 1973 laid the first brick of what in the following decades became La Maggiorana. <\/p><p>Cordon Bleu, professor of dietetics, contributor to television programmes on Rai: Elena embodies all the essence of these experiences, which have helped make her a pillar and a constant inspiration for her descendants. Erica is the soul of Maggiorana, and she has infused Maggiorana with her tastes and passions. Her culinary creations are characterised by skill and experimentation, clean lines and creative touches.  <\/p><p>Erica is an artist who has turned her hand to cooking, the perfect combination of her mother Elena&#8217;s teachings and her father Giuseppe&#8217;s artistic talent.<\/p><p>Often you will see Erica walking in the park of the Villa together with her her five white Russian greyhounds, immersed in nature and surrounded by flowers that she loves.<\/p><p>But that&#8217;s not all. Erica Maggiora tracked down and collected a multitude of historic Maggiora packaging and boxes, creating a veritable company archive dedicated to the family biscuit factory. This work led to the relaunch of the Maggiora brand with the current production of various confectionery products. Culinary Arts School:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>In 2004, Erica Maggiora was commissioned by L&#8217;Oreal to create a food design refreshment themed &#8220;The Five Elements&#8221; at the Bologna Exhibition Centre.<\/li><li>From 2004 to 2007, Erica Maggiora began <strong>collaborating with a group of hearing-impaired people, organising dedicated cooking courses for them<\/strong>. Numerous print and online newspapers published articles praising the initiative. <\/li><li>In 2005, Erica Maggiora was responsible for creating a food design refreshment commissioned by the <strong>Stola<\/strong> company at the <strong>Turin Automobile Museum<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Also in 2005, we remember the publication of the book <strong><em>Taste the Texture \u2013 Trame di Gusto<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 presented at the <strong>Frankfurt Textile Fair<\/strong>, a book in which fabrics made from natural products such as corn, oats and bamboo were represented as haute cuisine dishes.<\/li><li>In 2006, Erica Maggiora was appointed Ambassador of Turin for the Winter Olympics.<\/li><li>Also in 2006, Erica Maggiora, selected from among 1,000 chefs from around the world invited to the event, participated in the <strong>Salone del Gusto and the Terra Madre initiative<\/strong>.<\/li><li>In 2007, Erica Maggiora put her creative flair to work to design a completely innovative buffet for Wave, a leading company in the modern furniture sector. It was a two-metre by four-metre &#8216;edible&#8217; carpet, made up of around 2,000 handmade pieces that reproduced the features of a carpet, which was displayed at the inauguration of the company&#8217;s new headquarters in Milan. <\/li><li>In 2008, for the company <strong>Lucifero Illuminazione<\/strong>, Erica Maggiora created a creative, luminous refreshment. <br>In 2010 <strong>Erica Maggiora collaborated with the chocolatier Guido Gobino<\/strong>, in his own workshop, presenting one of his recipes for a tasting session.<\/li><li>Since 2010, Erica Maggiora has been one of the teachers at AICI and works with them at the new Milan branch of the Mondadori Cook&amp;Books cooking school.<\/li><li>In 2012 and 2013, Erica Maggiora held several cooking classes at Eataly, where demand for the classes was always high.<\/li><li>In 2013, she began teaching chocolate classes at La Maggiorana <strong>the chocolatier and coffee roaster Guido Castagna in Giaveno<\/strong>. In the spring of 2014, Elle a Tavola magazine dedicated a very important article to Erica Maggiora, a feature produced entirely at La Maggiorana.<\/li><li>In 2015, during the various events organised for <strong>Milan Expo 2015<\/strong>, Erica Maggiora returned to the <strong>Arclinea<\/strong> showroom in central Milan to create <strong>works of art using food and antique trimmings<\/strong>, in collaboration with the company <strong>Antica Fabbrica Passamanerie Vittorio Massia<\/strong>, for the event <strong>\u201c Milano Citt\u00e0 Al Bacio&#8221;<\/strong>.<br>In spring 2018, Erica Maggiora took part in the <strong>Messer Tulipano event<\/strong> with a cooking show dedicated to aromatic herbs and edible flowers in the kitchen entitled: <strong>&#8221; Edible Flowers: Roses in the Kitchen\u201d<\/strong>, organised by <strong>M\u00f9ses \u2013 European Academy of Essences<\/strong> for the project <strong>Alcotra Antea \u2013 Disafa University of Turin<\/strong>.<\/li><li>In July 2018, the historical archive of the Maggiora biscuit factory was exhibited in the evocative rooms of Provana Castle in Collegno. The three-day exhibition attracted the attention of a multitude of newspapers \u2013 <strong>La Repubblica, La Stampa, Luna Nuova<\/strong> \u2013 and the affection of several former employees who shared their stories. <\/li><li>During 2019, Erica Maggiora organised several team-building events with companies such as CNH Industrial, Fiat, Banca Fideuram, Olsa Spa, and Cornaglia Sp.
